Best Christmas Ever.

at least that's what Gavin kept telling me! We all had a great Christmas, and the kids REALLY racked up this year, and of course that Wii benefits me a lot! :) I got everything I asked for too.. go me!

I don't have a lot to blog about, so I will fill that void with some pictures!

I'm back..

Recreational internet activity at work has had to come to halt (indefinitely) and since I am the only person in the world without internet at home it’s SO hard for me to blog like I should.. err, want to.

I went to court (FINALLY) this past week and now have a set schedule/child support system.. aka.. Miss Ashtyn can’t be taken or kept from me whenever ‘he who shunt be named’ get mad at me, and also means when the check starts coming though school will be paid on time and I won’t have to miss work/bring Ashtyn to work with me on busy days/find a last minute sitter because the director say’s ‘I’m sorry you can’t leave her here b/c her school wasn’t paid.’ Yaay!

Ashytn is 2, going on 16.. She needs, not wants, certain things like chocolate milk with a straw and sunglasses when the sun is ‘hot in my eyes’ and a purse for her ‘mateup’. Diva in training, and I’ve been warned, it only gets worse. I need prayer.

My Star Wars loving, school hating 5 year old grown man is doing great. For a little while he was a bit on the ‘I don’t want to listen to my mom’ and ‘smart mouth’ stage but luckily for him (me too, but him mostly) it didn’t last long. He has a tonsillectomy and recovered fine with only a bit of a voice change. He sleeps so much better.. And so do I. He was a bit of a snorer’ before the surgery.

Gavin got to go see one of his FAVE people Ashley and baby Addie. He loves Addie.

Halloween was so much fun! Ashtyn was a bumble bee (inspired by the infamous song ‘I’m bringing home a baby bumble bee...” which is Ash’s FAVE!) and Gavin was a Clone Trooper, of course, inspired by the ever-so-famous Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Gavin is a ‘bad guys’ fan, just like his mom... Ehh. I tried (as well as my mom) to get Gavin to be Darth Vader, and when I asked him why he wouldn’t be him his answer; “I gotta be a clone trooper for the gun.” Evidently having every color of light sabers isn’t enough.

With their Baby Boomboom!

Are you kidding me right now?

At what point does a person lie so much that they have convinced even themselves that they are telling the truth? Is this a sickness and if so, can it be cured? Ehhh.. I’m hoping so, but I’m thinking not. Sorry- had to vent a little.

It was my birthday weekend, Friday night my dad took me out to my yearly ritual Red Lobster feast where I proceed to order too much food and sit there and stuff myself to the point that I have to unbutton my pants.. yeah I said it. Gavin discovered a new love for shrimp and Ashtyn acted like a too-good diva the whole time who thought it was ok to take her shoes off and play musical chairs, no mam. She’s a little too much sometimes, even for me!

Saturday night I was wined and dined @ my fave- Ruth’s Chris! Yuummy! If you have been there then you already know, and if you haven’t then you obviously don’t know, and you need to find out- ASAP! It’s an experience you will never forget.

Ok, I think we’re all caught up except personal things I can not let the world know yet, but don’t worry my nosey people- cough cough- Candace, you’re time is coming.

Back in Action.

It’s Thursday- blah. The most dreaded weekday (to me) of all the week days. Why Thursday, you ask? Because, I answer, because Thursday is the day that I have to work from 9a-5p @ the office and continue my work day from 6p-3a @ my other office. That right people, count it up.. That’s 16 hours of work.. wouldn’t you hate Thursday too?

I have not written in a while, but not because I don’t have anything to write about but because I simply forgot that I was a blogger. I know, I know. Gavin’s birthday was this past weekend and we had a party @ Chuck E Cheese which is the worst place ever, IMO. Chuck E Cheese reminds me of Thursday’s—Eck. I will post pics as soon as I get them on a disc.

Ashtyn has been sick, therefore Gavin will be sick soon- yay.

I know famous people.

Isn't my blog beautiful? Unfortunately I can not take credit- Thanks to my smart, beautiful, wonderful, talented (OK, I'm done) cousin Candace for making my blog.. complete.. well almost. She said to tell you all it's 'a work in progress' so there.. the word has been spread. My beautiful blog will become even more beautiful.. go her.

Did anyone watch Jay Leno last night? I heart Jay Leno. I'm so excited he's back! Anywho- Kanye (yes, we're on a first name basis) apologized for being a jerk and maybe shed a tear when Jay (another first name basis friend of mine) pulled the mama card!! I was impressed- but it doesn't make the fact that he jerked the mic from a 19 year old girls hand any better. My FAVE part of the apology/interview was when Jay asked him when he knew he shouldn't have said what he did and Kayne said.. as soon as I gave the mic back and she didn't finish what she was saying.. LoL

I can't believe my son will be 5 in 12 days! I remember like it was yeaterday just holding him and rocking him and praying that I would be good enough of a mother to let him survive-- and so far so good. Haha.. no really, he's a GREAT kid and he's so smart and funny. He by far exceeds my expectations.

Gotta get to work.. Thanks again Candace.

a new addition..

Calm down, it's not what you think.. it's just a cat. Yes, a cat. Gavin has been begging me for a cat for months now, and I've caved. I'm such a softy. The first couple of days all she did was hide in whatever corner she could find but now she's not so shy and we can't walk down the hall without something attacking out feet.

Meet Layla.

I heart Twitter.

Yes, Leigh Ann is a blogger now. Go me.

Random- Has anyone tried Twitter? I don’t actually do the ‘Twittering’ myself, however I do love to read celebrity Twitter updates. I feel like I’m friends with the Kardashian sisters because I know where they had lunch, what they downloaded onto their iPods, what time they went to bed, etc..
Yes, I’m a freak-of-nature.

Gavin will be 5 this month- I can’t believe it. I remember when he was my little tiny baby that I prayed over every day that I wouldn’t kill him with my non- know- how- to- mothering skills.. so far so good, go me again.

Ashtyn is 2- TERRIBLE (understatement) TWO. All I ever hear is, ‘I NEED THAT’, ‘THAT’S MINE’, ‘BUBA HIT ME LIKE DIS..” and she hits herself, she has random temper tantrums with no forewarning what-so-ever and she thinks that she’s grown enough to push the cart in Wal-Mart when really all she’s going is running into random people and pushing my purse away from me. (Which is not really an issue- joke is on the person who steals MY purse.. LoL!)

I’m so glad that I found my cousin’s (Candace) and my sister’s (from another mister) blogs! I love keeping up with their babies. I’ll live vicariously through them and their babies, because NO MAS BAMBINOS PARA TE! (My Spanish is rusty- to me that says no more babies for me; I’m not really sure what it says to the people who can actually speak/read Spanish.

RTR!!
